Our annual pantomime is once again written and directed by our very own Wendy Brough. After the escapades and exploits of Dick Whittington last year she has now turned her attention to another character from fairy-tale land —Prince Charming.
Every drama group has experienced the horrors of what can go wrong on the night, and the ladies of the F.A.H.E.T.G. Dramatic Society are no different. A real laugh out loud comedy for all to enjoy. Please book early.
The play takes place in a cricket pavilion where Roger is having trouble getting a team together for the afternoon's fixture against the British Railways Maintenance Division Yeading East but this proves to be the least of anyone's worries.
Our annual pantomime this season is Dick Whittington and was written by one of our own members Wendy Brough. She recreates this famous story but with her own twist. When Dick and his adopted and trusted cat Rocky arrive in London they meet a host of colourful and wacky characters.
One of our cast members, Sue Henshall, has had some drama of her own, recently. While going to buy some milk, during a break in rehearsals, she had a break of her own, well, three it appears. She fell and broke her arm in three places.
Work has begun on the stage, not only by our set design and construction team but also by the cast and props team. The publicity team have also made a start and costume creation will begin shortly. Stay with us to see more glimpses of the progress of Blithe Spirit.
Blithe Spirit is a comic play by Noël Coward. The play concerns the socialite and novelist Charles Condomine, who invites the eccentric medium and clairvoyant, Madame Arcati, to his house to conduct a séance, hoping to gather material for his next book.
At present we do not take online bookings for our productions – that includes any enquiries that we receive via the contact form. If you would like tickets please contact the box office on the telephone number above.
